West vs Rest

– In dealing with Russia and China, the Biden administration is trying to establish a world of neocolonial oppression, to prevent the loss of their hegemonic status. The current expression of this endeavor are the strict demands made by the USA and its allies on the countries of the Global South, to take part in the economic war against Russia and to supply arms for the proxy war in Ukraine. Almost desperate attempts are being made here, to restore a quasi-colonial bondage relationship, in order to stand up to the declining global reputation. But the vast majority of the countries and the people there do not follow the course of the USA and the NATO countries. The "Ramstein Format" launched by Washington on German soil, in which arms deliveries to Ukraine are arranged and coordinated, three quarters of all countries worldwide stay away. 87 percent of the world's population live in countries of the Global South, who refuse, to join the economic war against Russia and the NATO proxy war in Ukraine.

The West is here against the rest of the world: The UN Human Rights Council in Geneva has just voted on a resolution, condemning unlawful unilateral sanctions as human rights violations. The resolution was 33 Jastimen, 13 Adopted against and one abstention. To the countries, who rejected the text, belonged, as expected, to the United States and several NATO members, including Great Britain, France, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland and Germany as well as Ukraine and Georgia. The Global South, on the other hand, stands united against the devastating policy of economic sanctions – with countries like China, South Africa, If, Bangladesh, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Because, Benin, Gambia, Malawi, Malaysia and Vietnam. Resolution A/HRC/52/L.18 betont, that unilateral coercive measures, Laws and secondary sanctions are a violation of international law, of the norms and principles as well as the UN Charter. The text expresses "great concern" about the negative impact of sanctions on human rights, including the right to development. States are invited, 'no more unilateral coercive measures to be taken, to maintain, implement or follow (…), in particular no coercive measures with extraterritorial effect«. The unilateral sanctions imposed by the US and the EU are viewed as an attack on the principles of “sovereign equality of states” and non-interference in internal affairs. the am 3. Resolution passed on April condemns the use of sanctions as a "means of leverage", which is used in particular against the least developed and developing countries, “to prevent them from exercising their rights, of their own free will about their own political, economic and social systems«.

In addition to active resistance to the US economic war, there is also a veritable flight from the US dollar as a world trade currency. In a rapid development, more and more countries worldwide decide, to de-dollarize their trade relations, thereby cutting US wealth, continue to fund their wars and proxy wars with the money press, decisive.
Former President of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah, describes neocolonialism as a systemic problem of the postcolonial state in relation to the former European colonial empires. The collective and self-confident refusal of the states of the Global South, to take part in the Western proxy war in Ukraine, shows, that this system is increasingly faltering. The Rapid Rise of China, the developments in countries such as India or Brazil and the expansion of cooperation and integration in the countries of the South make this clear: The road to a multipolar world is irreversible, even if it still has to be enforced against the governments of the NATO countries.
