In the name of the "free world"

This is an obvious propaganda lie, but even if you take it seriously, then a basic question should be asked - whether in the name of this fight for the "free world" he can use methods that have nothing to do with the principles publicly proclaimed by this world?

Will the outlawing of the Russian language in Ukraine, destroying monuments not only to politicians and military men, but writers and poets belonging to the heritage of world culture, to mention only Mikhail Bulgakov, Fyodor Dostoyevsky or Alexander Pushkin - it's a fight for freedom and democracy? Recently, the outstanding 18th-century scholar Mikhail Lomonosov also fell victim to the monument purge. Monuments to Bandera and Shukhevych are springing up on the vacated places like mushrooms after the rain. Kiev city bookstore "Syaivo Knigi" triumphant news, that she collected more than 57 tons of Russian-language books "for recycling", that is, open to burning. Probably among these books there are not many works of Lenin, but Pushkin's poetry and novels, Lermontov, Tolstoy, Bulgakov.

Culture War, that is, the contemporary Ukrainian Kulturkampf also covered matters of faith and churches. For many months, but especially since 1 of December 2021, when Volodymyr Zelensky announced the time to fight for the "Ukrainian soul", the temples of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate are forcibly taken over (which by the way declared condemnation of the war and loyalty to the Ukrainian state) by supporters of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine or by militias of nationalist groups. On Christmas Day, the Ukrainian Church "reflected" the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God and the refectory church in the holy place of Orthodoxy, that is, in the Pechersk Lavra in Kiev.

According to "Przegląd Orthodox, many cathedrals, diocesan centers and monasteries are searched by the Security Service of Ukraine, to "prevent the use of religious communities as cells of the Ruthenian peace". Antoni, Metropolitan of Boryspil and Brewery, head of the affairs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, paid attention, that pressure on the Church, that is currently taking place in Ukraine, would be reprehensible in any European country: “The Constitution guarantees us the right to freely practice our faith. A crazy avalanche of invented and fabricated accusations, mass media pressure on the episcopate and clergy of our Church and the desire to discredit it are unworthy of a democratic and European state..

All these phenomena described here only briefly have the face of Stepan Bandera and his organization, what was the OUN. And somehow no one in Poland and in the "free world" reacts. The doctrine of Anne Applebaum is in force, which was announced at the time: 'Ukraine needs more nationalism'. And official Ukraine, justifying everything with war, it does.
