Tensions arose among the 35 Ukrainian refugees, who were moved to the buffer center in Elhovo. Migrants claim, that basic living conditions are lacking and they want an urgent meeting with the Bulgarian institutions, broadcast bTV.
The Ukrainians were moved from hotels in Sozopol. The measure is temporary. The group, in which there are mostly women and children, will remain in the camp, until places are found in the state bases. One of the migrants even defines the room as a bunker.
The Ukrainian refugees want to be taken out of the vans, in which according to their words, basic living conditions are lacking, space is tight, and there is no medical care.
“Everything is normal, but the conditions are not good”, said a mother with young children.
Yesterday there was a briefing of the regional governor, who said, that the situation is normal and the conditions are good, and refugees from Ukraine will stay temporarily.
The buffer center is ready to receive additional groups of refugees, which according to the plan of the state, must remain here until they are accommodated in government bases.
